Six Uganda People's Defence Air Force (UPDAF) members successfully completed Approach Control Procedural Course No. 53 and Approach Control Surveillance Course No. 6 at the Civil Aviation Training Centre (CATC). The course was officially closed by UPDF Major General Defense David Isimbwa, who commended CATC for its continued cooperation with Uganda UPDAF and for providing relatively inexpensive training to students. He also mentioned that a similar course would have cost a fortune if attended elsewhere. Major General Isimbwa was accompanied by Major Ronald Baliraine, UPDAF Military Assistant. Prior to his welcome remark, Principal CATC Aristid Kanje inquired participants to return home and be the change.
